The 4th Main Road in the Industrial Town of Rajajinagar is where we have our setup at 130/4. It is a busy area with a lot of noise from the neighbors, but you get used to it after a while. Most mornings start with the heavy sound of the shutters rolling up and the smell of grease. The floor is concrete and has some cracks here and there from moving the heavy steel around. We have stacks of metal everywhere, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. The tea stall guy comes around twice a day with hot glass cups, which is a nice break. We have an old desk covered in papers and some calendars from three years ago still hanging up. The trucks arrive early and the drivers wait their turn in the narrow street. It can be a bit of a headache when two big lorries try to pass each other. We use a big fan in the corner, but it mostly just moves the warm air around during the summer. It is not a fancy place by any means. There is no air conditioning or soft chairs. We just come in, handle the orders, and do the work. The guys have been here a long time, so we all know how the machines sound when they are running right. It is a simple life in a loud part of town.
