About Chinoos Food Products – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
Our little production setup is tucked away at 65/1 in Kottur Village. It is a local place where we spend our days making various food products. The air around the building usually smells like whatever we happen to be cooking or mixing that morning. Some days it is heavy with spices, and other times it is something sweet like jaggery. Chinoos Food Products started because we just liked making things that people in the area enjoy eating. It is a lot of manual work, if I am being honest. We spend many hours every day measuring out ingredients by hand and making sure the packaging is sealed up properly so nothing goes stale before it reaches the customer. The floor is usually a bit of a mess by the middle of the day, but we make sure to scrub it all down before we head home for the evening. Being located right in the village means we know almost everyone who walks past our gate. It is definitely not a high-tech factory. We use simple tools and follow the same old ways of doing things that we have used for years. Some days are much slower than others, especially when the weather is bad and the supply trucks have a hard time reaching us. We just keep ourselves busy with whatever orders we have on the books. My hands usually smell like onions or sugar by the end of a shift. It is honest work and it keeps us on our feet.
