Vandana Communications

Our shop, Vandana Communications, is located at No. 1 on 28th Main, right at the corner where it meets 36th A Cross in the Vidya Peetha area. It’s a really nice corner spot for a business. We see a lot of students, teachers, and local families because of all the colleges and schools that are nearby. We’ve been here for a good while now, providing basic communication services like mobile recharges, new SIM cards, and some basic phone accessories that people need. The shop isn't very big at all, but we’ve managed to cram a lot of stock onto the shelves over the years. We have a small glass display case that's always a bit smudged with fingerprints from people looking at the different phone models. Sometimes it gets very loud with the constant traffic coming off the main road, but you eventually get used to the noise. We try to help everyone who walks in, even if they just have a very simple question about how their data plan works. It’s just me and my brother running the entire place most of the time. We don't have any big corporate strategy or a five-year plan. We just open up the shop in the morning, sweep the dust off the floor, and wait for the first customer to arrive. It’s been a very steady business for our family. We like the Vidya Peetha neighborhood because the people are friendly and they’ve supported our little shop through the years. We are just local people.
