We operate out of Bangalore. It’s a big city and there are plenty of people doing what we do, but we just stick to our own way of handling things. Value Vision Management Consultants is basically just us giving advice and helping people figure out their business problems. We don’t have a big fancy office in a glass tower. We mostly work from a smaller space where we can actually hear ourselves think. Management consulting sounds like a lot, but for us, it’s just about sitting down and looking at the facts. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It’s not very glamorous. Sometimes the traffic in Bangalore makes getting to meetings a real chore, so we do a lot of stuff remotely when we can. We’ve been doing this for a while and have seen a lot of things change in the city. We don’t really have a big staff. It’s just a handful of us who know the ropes. We don't use a lot of buzzwords. If someone asks for help, we tell them what we think based on what we’ve seen work before. It’s a very grounded way of doing business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have our desks and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. That’s about all there is to it. We keep it simple and focus on the task at hand.
