Vaishnavi Dhall Mill

We are located at Number 53 in Nanjappa Layout, just off Kanakapura Road. This is where we spend our days processing different kinds of pulses. The mill has a specific sound to it—a constant hum of the machinery that you get used to after a while. There is usually a thin layer of dust from the grains on everything, which is just how a mill is. We keep the sacks of dhall stacked up against the walls. Some of them are quite heavy. It is not the quietest job, and it can be a bit tiring on the back, but it is steady work. We see a lot of people from the layout coming in to get their supplies. The traffic on Kanakapura Road is always heavy, but once you turn into our street, it gets a little bit calmer. We do not have a flashy sign or anything like that. People just know where the mill is. Sometimes we have to fix a belt or clear a jam in the machines, which takes up time. We do not spend much on advertising because the neighborhood knows us already. We just focus on getting the milling done so the shopkeepers can get their stock. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day. We have been at this spot for quite some time now.
