Vaibhav Foods

You can find us at No. 15 on First Main. Vaibhav Foods has been here for a bit, and it’s a fairly simple operation. The street gets a lot of foot traffic, which is nice, though parking can be a bit of a challenge sometimes if you’re coming by car. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of offices, just this one spot where we do everything. Most of the time, the air smells like whatever we are processing that day. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a little bit of everything. One day you might be helping with the loading, and the next you’re answering the phone or checking the stock. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with crates stacked up and people moving fast to get things finished. We don't have those fancy break rooms you see on TV, just a table where we sit and have tea when there’s a gap in the work. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we all kind of look out for each other on this block. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We just try to keep the quality steady and make sure we don’t fall behind on the orders coming in. It’s just us doing our thing at Vaibhav, without any of the corporate talk or complicated rules.
