Our main operations for V Transport India Ltd are handled out near Nelamangala. We are situated at the Makali Swamy Stock Yard on the National Highway Road. It is very close to Tumkur Road, so there is a constant flow of large trucks and heavy traffic all around us. It can get pretty dusty out here at the stock yard, especially when the weather is dry, but this is where the real work happens. Since we are in the transport business, being right next to the highway is the only thing that makes sense for us. We spend a lot of our time checking schedules and talking to the drivers. It is definitely not a quiet or clean office environment. There is always the sound of diesel engines idling and people shouting to be heard across the yard. We have a small office space on the site where we keep our logs and paperwork. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we just keep the fans going. We are not interested in having a fancy building. We just need to make sure things get moved from one point to another without any major problems. Sometimes a vehicle breaks down or there is a big delay on the road, and we have to fix the situation quickly. That is just how the transport world works. We have been here a long time and keep things moving.
