V R Communication

Started working here at Sunkadakatte because it was close to where I stay. The shop is right on Sus Pashan Road, specifically at number 47/1, and it gets pretty busy when the traffic picks up in the evening. Most days, I’m just here behind the counter, looking out at the bikes passing by. People come in mostly for small things, and the air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise that I’ve stopped noticing. The sign outside for V R Communication has a little scratch on the corner from when the wind blew a branch against it last monsoon. It’s not a huge place, just a simple room with enough space for a couple of chairs. Sometimes the neighbors from the shops next door come over to complain about the heat or just to share some tea they bought from the stall down the road. You can see the address easily from the street, though sometimes people miss the turn-off if they’re driving too fast toward the junction. I usually spend my morning cleaning the glass cases and making sure everything looks okay. It gets a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, so there is always something to wipe down. I’ve been around this part of town for a long time now, so most faces are familiar even if I don’t know all their names. It’s just how it is here on this stretch of road.
