V Nanu Stores is located in Yeshwantpur, right in the middle of all the noise and bustle. We’ve been here for years, and the shop has become a bit of a second home for us. It’s a straightforward place with wooden shelves that have seen better days. We stock all the basic stuff that families in the area need, from soap to snacks. We don’t have those fancy scanners or automatic doors you see in the city. We just do everything by hand and keep a ledger for the accounts. Yeshwantpur is a busy place, especially with the market and the station so close by, so there is always someone walking past. We open up early, usually before the sun is even fully up, to catch the people on their way to work. The floor is made of old stone and it’s a bit uneven in places, so you have to be careful. We don't do any advertising because everyone around here already knows who we are. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet and watch the world go by. It’s a humble life, and the work can be hard on your legs, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to grow into a big chain. We’re just happy to be the local store where you can get what you need without any fuss.
