Usha Steel Centre

Usha Steel Centre is sitting right in the middle of the Peenya Industrial Area. Specifically, we are at Plot No- M-2 on the 5th Cross in the 1st Stage. There is a temple nearby which is usually the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone who hasn't visited before. Being in Peenya means there is always a lot of activity, trucks moving around, and the sound of industry all day long. We have been here for a good amount of time dealing with all sorts of steel. Our space is mostly taken up by racks of metal and the equipment we use to move things around. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s an industrial shop, so you expect some grease and iron filings. We have a small crew and we mostly just focus on getting orders sorted for the local shops or whoever needs steel for their construction projects. Sometimes the 5th Cross gets a bit jammed up with vehicles, but that is just life in the 1st Stage. We don’t really do any big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here near the temple. We open up early and stay until the work for the day is finished. It is a simple setup, nothing too complicated, just us and the steel we handle every day. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years we have been here.
