Usha Steel & Alloys

We are Usha Steel & Alloys down in Cottonpet at 41426. If you have ever been to Cottonpet, you know how tight the streets are. It is one of those old parts of the city where everything is packed together. Our place is basically a big storehouse for steel and other metals. It’s not a pretty building. It’s old and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it holds everything we need. We spend most of the day loading and unloading. There is a lot of clanging noise from the steel beams hitting each other. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of iron. We don’t have much in the way of an office, just a small desk in the corner with a ledger and a phone that rings quite a bit. The street outside is always full of handcarts and people rushing around. It’s hard to find parking, so we usually just see people walking in. We have a few regulars who stop by just to chat for a minute before going back to their own shops. It is a very local kind of place. We don’t do any marketing or have a website. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the trucks. It’s been this way for a long time, and we are used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The humidity can make the metal a bit tricky to handle sometimes but we have our ways of getting it done.
