Universal Patterns & Founders

We are Universal Patterns & Founders, located at No. 83 on 13 Main. This is in the Old K.P Agrahara area, just off Magadi Road. The neighborhood has a lot of history and it is quite crowded. Our foundry work happens right here on site. It can get pretty hot and noisy because of the patterns and the casting process. We have been at this spot for quite a while now. The 13 Main road is a bit narrow, so it is always a squeeze when the delivery trucks come through. We do not have a formal office with air conditioning. It is mostly just the workshop floor and a small corner for the books. You will usually find us covered in a bit of dust or sand from the molds. Magadi Road is always busy with buses and commuters, but once you turn into K.P Agrahara, it feels more like an old industrial pocket. We are just regular people doing a tough job. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. People find us because they know where we are or they have seen our sign on the street. It is a very hands-on business. Most of the guys here have been working these patterns for years. It is not a pretty place, but it is where the work gets done. We just keep our heads down and finish the day's tasks. That is how we have always done things here.
