Universal Fabs

Universal Fabs is situated at 41632 Brigade Road, up on the 2nd Floor. Being on Brigade Road means we are right in the middle of everything. It’s one of the busiest streets you can find, and there’s always noise from the shops and the people walking below. We do fabrication work, so there’s usually some cutting or joining going on in our space. It’s a bit of a climb to the second floor, especially if we are carrying materials, but we manage. The space isn't huge, so we have to keep things pretty organized so we don't trip over our own tools. We deal with metal and different kinds of builds depending on what someone needs. It’s a lot of sparks and the smell of hot metal most afternoons. We don't have a showroom or anything fancy. It's just a workshop where the floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or scrap. People come up the stairs to see how their project is coming along. We like the energy of Brigade Road even if the parking is a total nightmare. Most of our day is spent at the benches working with our hands. We aren't trying to be a big factory; we just handle the jobs that come in. It’s a tight space at 41632, but it works for what we do. We just keep our heads down and finish the fabrication tasks as they come. It's a lot of sweat but we like the work.
