We’ve been here at Hebbal 29 for a good while now. Most people around here know the spot. It’s usually pretty loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the phones. Someone is always coming in with a cracked screen or looking for a charger they lost on the bus. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we try to keep things organized. I’ve been working here since the morning shift became my routine. We have a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood who stop by just to ask a quick question about their settings. The shelves are usually full of different boxes and cases. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle to find the exact door because of how the numbers are laid out on this street, but once they find us, it’s all good. We spend a lot of time testing out the new models that come in. It’s a lot of sitting behind the counter and talking to folks. The air conditioner works most days, which is a relief when the sun is hitting the glass front hard. We don't do much fancy talk here. If a phone is broken, we look at it. If you need a new one, we show you what’s in the drawer. It’s just how things go at Univercell. We keep the lights on until late most evenings because that’s when everyone gets off work and realizes they need something for their mobile.
