The shop is located over at number 381 in Kempepura, right near the Hebbal flyover area. It’s a small place, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff on the shelves. Most days are spent looking at small screens and trying to figure out why someone’s speaker stopped working or why a battery won’t hold a charge anymore. We have a lot of regular customers from the neighborhood who just drop by to get a new tempered glass or a cheap pair of earphones because they lost their old ones. It gets pretty busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they need something for their phone. The traffic outside is always crawling, so we hear a lot of horns all day long. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get too hectic. We aren’t trying to be some big showroom. We just want to make sure people can get their phones fixed without waiting for a week. The counter is usually covered in tools and tiny screws that I have to be careful not to lose. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait to finish a recharge or a transfer, but we usually manage. It’s just a normal local shop trying to help out the folks living around Hebbal. We keep the doors open late most nights because that's when people need us most.
