Univercell

Univercell is right there in Rajajinagar on Akurli Cross Road at numbers 101 and 102. It’s a good spot because it’s on the corner where two busy paths meet. We have a lot of glass counters inside that we spend way too much time cleaning because of all the fingerprints. The shop is full of boxes for different phones and accessories like chargers and covers. It’s usually pretty bright in here because we have those long tube lights on the ceiling. Being at Rajajinagar means there are always people walking by, looking in the window while they wait for their bus or a friend. The address covers two units, so we have a bit more space than some of the other shops around us. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when it’s quiet, which isn't very often during the evenings. The back room is where we keep the extra stock, and it’s a bit of a squeeze to get through the door when the new shipments arrive. We don’t have a big corporate feel or anything like that. It’s just a local shop where you can hear the street noise while you’re looking at a new screen protector. We try to keep the shelves tidy, but things get moved around a lot throughout the day when we're showing items. During the rainy season, we have to keep a mop handy near the door for all the wet footprints people leave behind.
