Univercell

Our shop, Univercell, is located at Bhashyam Circle, specifically at 39th Cross, 11th A Main in the 4th Block area. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s never a quiet moment. We sell mobile phones and all the bits and pieces that go with them, like chargers and earphones. The shop is usually bright because of all the display lights, but it’s a small space overall. We spend a lot of time explaining how the different features work to people who aren't very tech-savvy. It’s not a corporate showroom, just a local spot where you can come and talk about what phone fits your budget. We’ve been in this 4th Block location for some time now, and we’ve seen a lot of phone brands come and go. Sometimes people just come in to get their SIM cards cut or to ask why their battery is dying so fast. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know the stock well. The 39th Cross area gets really crowded during the weekends, so we have to be on our toes. It can get a bit cramped when five or six people are inside at once, but we try to help everyone as they come. It’s a straightforward business, really. We sell phones, we help with the setup, and we’re here if something goes wrong later. We find that staying in one place for a long time helps build trust with the neighbors.
