Univercell

Univercell is right here on Jamnalal Bajaj Marg 278 in Banashankari 1st Stage. Most people know the spot because it is near the big tree on the corner. We spend most of our day behind the glass counter looking at screens and trying to figure out why things stopped working. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the phones and the tablets people bring in. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for the system to load, so we end up chatting with the neighbors. The shop is not very big, and if three or four people come in at once, it feels a bit cramped. We have a back room where we keep all the spare parts and old boxes that we really should throw away but haven't gotten around to yet. My brother helps out in the evenings when things get busy after people finish work and stop by on their way home. We have been in this part of Banashankari for a while now and seen the shops around us change quite a bit. The floor tile is chipped near the door from when we moved the heavy cabinet, but it doesn't bother anyone. We keep a small radio on the shelf that mostly plays the local station. It is a simple place to get your phone fixed or find a new cable without any fuss. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who walks in.
