Out in the 4th Phase of the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically on the 9th Cross, you will find United Steel Corporation. Being at number 341 puts us right in the thick of one of the biggest industrial hubs around. If you come by, you will hear the sound of heavy machinery and the clanging of steel beams being loaded onto trucks. It is a rough and ready kind of place. There is always a layer of dust on everything, and the air smells like grease and metal. Our office is just a small section of the warehouse where we keep the books and take orders. We don't bother with fancy decor because it would just get dirty in a day anyway. We have a small crew that handles the heavy lifting and the logistics. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and making sure the steel is moving where it needs to go. The 4th Phase is a maze of roads and factories, and it can be hard to navigate if you are not used to it. We have been here for a long time and have seen Peenya grow and get more crowded. It is a tough environment, but we like the honesty of it. There are no corporate games here, just people doing physical work and moving raw materials. We start early and finish when the work is done, usually as the sun is setting over the industrial skyline.
