United Engineers & Consultants

Our office is over on Mahatma Gandhi Road, specifically at number 602 in Dandia Bazar. United Engineers & Consultants has been in this spot for a good bit of time. It's a busy street, so there's always something going on outside the window. We mostly just focus on the technical side of things here. It's not a flashy place, just a workspace with a lot of drawings and calculators lying around. The building itself is older, but it works for what we need. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs to be done. We usually have lunch together at the place down the street when it isn't too crowded. The stairs up to the office can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. We spend a lot of time looking at plans and making sure the numbers add up right. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking, really. Some days are busier than others, especially when a few projects hit at once. We don't have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. We’ve grown used to the noise from the traffic on MG Road. It’s just part of being in this part of town. We keep it simple and just try to get the work finished on time. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound, but nobody really minds anymore.
