Batliboi

We are based over in Lakshmi Layout, which is part of the GB Palya area in Bangalore. Specifically, we’re at Arasamma Nilaya on the 4th Cross. It’s one of those parts of town that feels like it’s always under construction or has something going on with the roads. Our office is in a residential building, which is quite common for businesses around here. We’ve got a small sign out front, but you have to look for number 12, 4th Cross to find the right gate. The team here is small, mostly just a handful of us handling the technical side of the Batliboi operations. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going and plenty of water. Most of our work involves keeping track of orders and making sure the engineering specs are right before they go out. We don’t have a fancy canteen, so we usually just bring lunch from home or go to the small mess down the road. It’s a practical way to run things without spending too much on overheads. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare, so most of us try to get in early or stay a bit late to avoid the worst of it. We’ve been in this house for a while now, and the landlord is decent. It’s just a normal place where work gets done every day.
