Unik Furnitures

Unik Furnitures is based at 104/3 Infantry Road. This is a very busy part of the city, and the traffic outside is constant. Our showroom is filled with different kinds of chairs, tables, and cabinets. It can get a bit cluttered because we try to fit as much as we can on the floor. People walk in from the street to sit on the sofas or check the height of the desks. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space for new stock. The light coming in from the front windows is good in the morning. Infantry Road has a lot of history, and we like being part of this commercial stretch. We handle the deliveries ourselves, so you'll often see our small truck parked outside being loaded up. It’s a bit of a struggle with the traffic wardens sometimes. We don't have a big sales team, just a couple of us who know the stock well. If someone wants a specific type of wood, we tell them honestly what we have and what we don't. The back of the shop is where we keep the tools for minor repairs or adjustments. It’s a straightforward business and we’ve seen many shops around us change over the years. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s a lot of standing and talking, but it’s what we know.
