This place has been running for a while now over on 6th Cross in Jayanagar. It’s right near Muddanna Lane, which is a fairly quiet spot if you ignore the morning traffic. We started this because there are so many women coming to the city for work or college who need a safe place to sleep and eat. It isn't a five-star hotel or anything, just a clean house where things work like they are supposed to. We handle the cooking and make sure the water is running and the internet works, which is what most girls ask about first these days. Managing a PG means waking up early to get things started and staying up late sometimes if someone is coming back from a late shift. We’ve got some rules to keep things orderly, but mostly everyone just gets along. The rooms have the basics, beds and cupboards and a place to sit. We try to keep the food simple and home-style because nobody likes eating heavy stuff every single day. If something breaks, like a tap or a light, we get it fixed as fast as we can. It’s a lot of cleaning and making sure the kitchen is stocked up. Living in Jayanagar is nice because everything is close by, shops and the bus stop are just a short walk away. We see people come and go, some stay for years and some just for a month.
