Udaya Metal Works

We are over at F-128 on the 7th Cross in Prakash Nagar. This used to be a more residential area, but it slowly turned into a place with lots of small workshops like our own. We do various types of metal work here on a daily basis. Sometimes it is welding, sometimes it is bending pipes or making metal frames for furniture. It really depends on what people walk in and ask us for. We have a small yard out front where we keep some of the larger scrap pieces and raw steel materials. It is usually a bit of a mess out there, but we know exactly where everything is located. The shop itself is just one main room where we keep all our tools and machines. We have a welding machine that has been with us forever and it still works great for every job. We do not have a big sign or anything special, just the door number on the wall. Most of the people around here know us anyway. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving from one project to another. It gets dusty and the sparks fly, so we always make sure to wear our safety gear. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do enough work to keep the shop going and help the folks who need things made.
