Tmr Careers

We spend most of our days here at Sunshine Appt in Jayanagar 9th Block. It is a busy spot on D Main Road. The office is on the second floor, so we get a bit of exercise coming up the stairs every morning when the lift is acting up. Usually, the area is pretty noisy with all the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We started Tmr Careers because we wanted to do something local. It isn’t a fancy glass building or anything like that. Just a regular room with some desks, a few computers, and a coffee machine that sometimes works. Most of the time, we are just sitting here going through resumes or talking to people who walk in looking for advice on their next job move. The neighborhood is nice though. There are plenty of small places to grab a quick snack or a tea during the afternoon break. Sometimes the internet slows down when it rains heavy, which happens a lot lately in Bangalore. We don’t have any big corporate speeches to give. We just show up, do the work, and try to help folks find where they need to go next in their working lives. It gets a bit cramped when too many people visit at once, but we manage. If you are around East End, you probably know where the building is. Sometimes we have to remind people that we are tucked inside the apartment complex because the entrance is a little hidden from the main road view. It’s just how the building was made.
