About Timber House Of Exclusive – Industrial Plant & Machines in Bengaluru
We are tucked away at Old No. 6 on Rutland Gate, 4th Street. It’s a bit of a quieter part of Nungambakkam, which is nice because it lets us focus on what we’re doing with the wood. Timber House Of Exclusive sounds a bit formal, but we’re actually quite relaxed here in the workshop. The smell of fresh sawdust is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s everywhere, on our clothes and even in our tea mugs sometimes. We spend most of our time looking at different grains and figuring out what piece fits where for a particular project. It’s not a fast process, and we don’t try to make it one. Sometimes a customer comes in with a vague idea, and we spend an hour just talking it through while sitting on some raw planks. The building itself is quite old, but it has a lot of character, much like the timber we work with. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights or carpets. Instead, you see the wood as it is, stacked up and waiting to be used. It’s a bit cluttered, honestly, with scraps of teak and rosewood tucked into every available corner. The rain can be a bit of a pain during the monsoon because we have to make sure everything stays dry, but we manage. It’s just us here, doing the work we know how to do, day in and day out. No big corporate meetings or targets, just wood and the tools needed to shape it.
