We are located at 325/18, Thambu Chetty Street, right up on the 3rd floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then. Thambu Chetty Street is a frantic place with lots of traffic and people shouting, but once you get up to our office, it’s a bit calmer. We handle container lines for Ticc. Basically, that means we spend our whole day on the phone or computer tracking where things are going. It’s a lot of logistics and trying to make sure ships and trucks are where they should be. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of coffee. Sometimes things go wrong at the port, and we have to stay late to sort out the mess. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees. We are a small team that knows the shipping business inside and out. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s important. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. We know the tea seller downstairs and the other folks in the neighboring offices. We just do our bit to keep the containers moving across the ocean. It’s a lot of small details that have to be handled just right, or everything gets stuck.
