Thukral Optical Works

Our shop is located at Wz-34/13-A in Mukherjee Park Extn, right on Chukhandi Road. If you are near Tilak Nagar, you’ve probably passed by our area before. Thukral Optical Works is basically just a place where we handle glasses and lenses all day long. It’s a small space, filled with frames on the walls and those little tools for tightening screws. It gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at once, but we manage. We spend a lot of time looking through those lens charts and trying to get the fit just right for whoever walks in. Sometimes the delivery for the new frames is late or we run out of a specific lens type, and then we have to call people back. It is just the way things go in a small business like ours. We don't have a big corporate team, it is just us here trying to help people see a bit better. The morning starts with cleaning the glass cases and making sure everything looks decent enough. Mukherjee Park is a pretty active neighborhood so there’s always noise from the street coming inside. We just sit here, work on the spectacles, and chat with the regulars who stop by. It’s not a complicated life, just lenses and frames and making sure the shop stays open on time. We just keep at it and hope the frames we pick are ones people like.
