Three Star Packaging

Three Star Packaging operates out of the State Building on Mount Poonamallee Road in Kathupakkam. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always a lot of noise from the traffic. Our unit is 3/313, and it’s basically a warehouse for all sorts of packing materials. You’ll smell the brown paper and the plastic rolls as soon as you step inside. We spend a lot of time cutting sheets, stacking boxes, and making sure the rolls are organized. It’s physical work, and our clothes usually end up with some dust or tape residue by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be anything fancy; we just provide the boxes and wrap that other businesses need to send their own products out. The floor is concrete, and we have a small desk tucked in the corner where the ledger stays. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fans running full blast. We don't have a website with flashy photos or a big sales pitch. Most of our neighbors know us, and we just handle the orders as they come in. It’s about making sure the tape sticks and the boxes don’t fall apart, nothing more complicated than that. We just keep the supplies moving so people can get their things packed up.
