Threads (India) Ltd.

We are over at the Shreeji Warehousing Complex, right by the Narol-Sarkhej Highway. It’s usually pretty loud with all the trucks coming in and out all day long. Threads (India) Ltd. has been operating from unit number five for a good while now. The warehouse is basically packed to the ceiling with spools and industrial thread of all kinds. If you walk in, you’ll see the guys moving boxes around and trying to keep everything organized, which isn't always easy when a big shipment arrives. It gets dusty, and the heat in Ahmedabad doesn't help much during the afternoons, but the work gets done. We spend most of our time dealing with orders and making sure the right colors go out to the right people. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. Just a practical workspace where we manage the stock and talk to transporters. Most of us have been here long enough that we know the regular drivers by name. We just focus on keeping the inventory moving and making sure the counts are correct before the shutters go down for the evening. Sometimes the traffic on the highway makes things slow, but that's just part of being in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily load without making a big fuss about it.
