You can find Thoro Packaging Industries at No. 3 on the 1st Floor of Wing-2 in Thackker House. We are located at 2418 East Street. It’s an older building that has seen a lot of history over the years. Being on the first floor is handy because we don’t have to wait for the lift most days. Packaging is what we do, so there is always paper, cardboard, and tape lying around. It can look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know where everything is. The office isn't very big, so we’re all working pretty close to each other. We hear the noises from East Street all day long—people shouting and cars passing. It’s a busy commercial area. We spend a lot of time measuring things and checking the quality of the materials we use. It’s repetitive work, but it needs to be done right. We have a small desk for the paperwork and a larger area for the actual handling of the goods. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out to a customer. We aren't a corporate giant; we’re just a small outfit trying to keep things moving. The landlord is a decent guy, and we’ve been in this wing of Thackker House for several years now. It’s just our daily life here at Thoro Packaging. We lock up and head home once the street starts to get quiet in the evening hours.
