The Outlet

You can find us at number 963 on the 2nd Main in M.C. Layout. We are right on the corner of the 12th Cross here in Bangalore. It’s a decent spot with a fair amount of people walking by. Being an outlet, we have a lot of stuff coming in and out all the time. The front of the shop is usually where we keep the new arrivals. It’s not a fancy boutique with mood lighting. We just have regular tube lights and racks of clothes or whatever else we have in stock that week. Sometimes the boxes pile up near the back door and we have to spend a whole morning just sorting through them. We try to keep the floors swept, but with people coming in from the dusty street, it’s a constant battle. We don't have a huge staff. It’s just a few of us who take turns at the counter. We know many of the regulars who live in the layout. They stop by to see if we have anything new or just to say hello. It feels more like a neighborhood shop than a big chain store. We don't do big fancy sales events. If we have too much of something, we just mark the price down and put it near the front. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We like being part of the M.C. Layout community. It’s busy, it’s real, and it keeps us occupied. Every day brings someone different through the door and we just take it as it comes.
