The Ministry Of Events

The Ministry Of Events is located right near the Bangalore GPO, with the postal code 1942. Being in this central part of the city means we are right in the middle of everything. The area around the General Post Office is always humming with people and vehicles. Our space is pretty basic, just a place to coordinate our event work. We spend a lot of time walking back and forth between different points in the city, but this is where we start and end the day. It is an old-school part of Bangalore. We don’t have a flashy storefront or big neon signs. Usually, we are just busy checking lists or talking to vendors on our mobile phones. The vibe here is very much about getting the job done rather than looking good on paper. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, especially during rush hour, but you get used to it after a week or two. We deal with all sorts of event-related things, mostly focusing on the practical side of things like timing and locations. It’s a small team here. We don’t have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a calendar that is usually full of scribbles and coffee stains. If you are near the GPO, you’re basically near us. It is a functional office for people who are mostly out on the field anyway. We just keep things moving along as best we can every single day.
