The Kaiser

The Kaiser is located at 12 (319/F) on 1st Main in SBM Colony, Basavanagar. This part of Bangalore is mostly residential and has a lot of trees along the roads. We are on the first floor of the building and it is a fairly quiet spot for a business. We started this because we wanted a place in our own neighborhood. 560037 is a nice area and we know most of the people who live on this street. The space is not very large, so we have to be careful about where we put things. We spend a lot of our time just managing the daily chores and making sure the place stays clean. Since we are on the first floor, people sometimes miss us if they are just driving by quickly, so we try to keep a small sign out. The stairs are right there on the side of the building. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from cleaning to talking to the people who walk in. It is a very normal, local setup. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to keep the doors open and do a good job for the people in Basavanagar. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, and other days we are running around trying to get everything finished before we close up for the night.
