Shree Venkatesh Agencies is tucked away at number 22 on the 3rd stage of Dr Rajkumar Road, right by Lalbagh Road. This part of town is always moving, so there’s never a dull moment outside our windows. We handle a lot of different products as an agency, so the inventory is always changing. One week the warehouse is full of one thing, and the next it’s something totally different. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or filling out paperwork at these old wooden desks. It’s not a high-tech setup. We use basic ledger books and a computer that’s seen better days. The floors are a bit scuffed from moving boxes around all day long. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us hauling a crate or checking a manifest. It’s a bit of a maze in the back with all the shelves, but it works for us. We’ve been operating out of this location for quite some time now. The neighbors know us, and we know the delivery drivers by their first names. It’s just a straightforward operation. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just try to get the goods where they need to go and make sure the accounts are settled at the end of the month. That’s about all there is to say about us really.
