Our office is tucked away on Lubbay Masjid Street, just off the main Commercial Street crossing. It’s a very busy part of town, so there’s always noise from the shoppers and the heavy traffic outside. We deal with medical supplies and equipment. The space is filled with boxes of all sizes, from small bandages to larger diagnostic tools that take up a lot of room. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to fit as much stock as we can into the back rooms. We aren't a big hospital or a fancy clinic ourselves. We’re just the ones who make sure the supplies are available when people or clinics need them quickly. Sometimes the deliveries get stuck in the narrow streets around here, which can be very frustrating when we are in a hurry. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking with manufacturers and seeing when the next shipment will finally arrive. It’s a lot of inventory management and checking dates. People come in looking for very specific medical items, and we do our best to find them in the stacks. It’s a bit dusty and the building is quite old, but it works for what we need. We’ve been in this location for many years and we like being in the heart of the market area. It’s a lot of work and long hours, but it keeps us busy.
