We’ve got a small place at Mouna S Paying Guest, number 78/4 on Nat Street. It’s right in the middle of Gandhi Bazaar in Basavanagudi. If you know Bangalore at all, you know this area is always full of life and people shopping for flowers or groceries at the stalls. Our setup is pretty simple and we share the space, so it’s not like those big glass buildings you see in other parts of the city. We focus on finding people for jobs, which means we spend a lot of time talking on our mobile phones and meeting people for quick chats about their careers. It can get a bit crowded in here sometimes, especially when we have a few people visiting at once to drop off papers. The zip code is 560 004. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you when you walk in. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us at a desk. We’ve got old ceiling fans that make a bit of noise, but they keep the place cool enough in the summer. Being near Gandhi Bazaar is great for lunch because there is so much good food around the corner. We aren’t trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just a small team trying to help people find work. It’s honest work and we do it from a place that feels more like home than a corporate office. It suits us just fine.
