The Furniture World

The Furniture World is right here at 41561 Mathikere 1st Main Road, sitting next to the LIC office. If you know that area, you know it gets pretty packed with cars and people going to get their insurance stuff sorted. We have been here for a good bit of time, surrounded by a lot of wood and tools. The shop floor is always a bit dusty, no matter how much we sweep it up, but that’s just part of working with these materials. We spend our mornings moving things around to make space for whatever arrived the night before. It’s a lot of lifting and shifting, honestly. The 1st Main Road is always noisy, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and buses passing by. Most of our day is spent handling pieces, checking for scratches, and talking to people who wander in after finishing their business at the LIC building. It isn't a glossy showroom with bright lights and fancy carpets. It’s just a practical place where we keep the items we have. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the items in front of us. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic, while other days are a total mess with too many things happening at once. We like being in Mathikere because everything we need is close by. It’s just us working here, trying to get the job done without too much fuss and making sure the stock is ready.
