The Electro Plating & Polishing Works

Our workshop is up on the first floor of the Rythm Complex. It’s right near the petrol pump on Politechnic Road in Ambawadi, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us. We do a lot of plating and polishing work here. It’s a messy business, to be honest. There’s always the smell of chemicals and the sound of machines running. We spend our days making old things look a bit better or putting finishes on new parts. The floors are rarely clean because of all the liquid and dust, but that’s what happens in this trade. We wear heavy aprons and gloves most of the time. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The complex gets busy during the day, especially with the petrol pump right there. We have a small team of guys who know their way around the tanks. We don’t do big fancy presentations. If someone brings us a piece of metal, we tell them if we can fix it up or not. Sometimes the results are great, other times the metal is too far gone. We’re honest about what can be done. It’s hard work and it gets hot in here, but we like seeing the finished product at the end of the day. We keep a small fan running in the corner, but it doesn't do much when the big machines are all going at the same time.
