Tharuni Distributors

Tharuni Distributors started at Kre Layout on Collage Road quite some time ago. It is a busy spot. Mostly we spend our mornings moving heavy crates and checking the paper lists to see what came in. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and everyone just sits around on the old plastic chairs drinking tea from the small stall down the road. The building isn't much to look at, just a regular place with a big metal shutter that always sticks in the rainy season. There are three of us here usually. My nephew helps out with the ledger when he is not busy at school. It gets very dusty because of all the traffic on Collage Road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the desks and the stock. We know most of the shopkeepers around this part of the layout by their first names. They come by in their small tempos to pick up what they need for the week. It is not fancy work, just honest stuff that keeps us busy from six in the morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to use torches to find the right boxes in the back. It is a bit cramped in the office part but we managed to fit a small desk and a fan that squeaks. Most days are the same, just keeping things moving and making sure the counts are right before we close up for the night.
