Tgcs is based out of the Rbs Ladies Hostel building near the 15th Milestone on Bannerghatta Road. It’s quite a way out from the city center, down in Gottigere. The commute on B.G. Road is usually the main topic of conversation in the morning. Everyone has a story about a bus or a pothole. Our office space is simple. We share the area with the hostel setup, so it’s always lively. Umadevi is usually the one managing things here. We do general computer services and some tech support. It’s not a fancy corporate park with a gym or a cafeteria. We usually go out to the small local shops for our snacks and tea. The office itself is just a few rooms with enough power outlets for all our machines. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have some fans that do the job. We don’t really care about looking professional in the traditional sense. We care more about getting the tasks finished on time. We’ve got a mix of people here, some who have been with us for years and some new faces. It feels like a small family. We don't have a big boss who sits in a private office. We all sit together and figure things out as they come. It’s practical and it works for us in this part of Bangalore.
