Tentacles Entertainment

We are over at S-103 on Dickenson Road, inside the Sunder Compound in Ajmi Nagar. Tentacles Entertainment started because a few of us really liked music and gear, and it just kind of turned into a job. The space is basically a big room full of wires, speakers, and cases. It’s always a bit of a mess because someone is always packing for a show or coming back and dumping equipment. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably have to step over a few cables to find a place to sit. It’s a bit loud sometimes when we are testing the sound systems, but the neighbors in the compound don’t seem to mind too much. We’ve been here for a while now. Most of our work happens on the weekends or late at night, so during the day we are usually just cleaning stuff or fixing things that got broken at the last event. We aren't corporate at all. We mostly wear t-shirts and jeans because you can't really haul speakers in a suit. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and late hours. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just know us from the events we’ve done. It’s just a small group of us trying to make a living doing something we actually enjoy. It’s not always easy, but it beats sitting in a cubicle all day. We just pack the truck and hope we didn't forget any connectors.
