Tender Coconut Merchants

If you go near the Chasiram Chaudhary Hall in Indira Nagar, you will find us with all the coconuts. We’ve been the Tender Coconut Merchants for this area for quite some time. It is a very simple business. We get the loads of coconuts in, and then we sell them to anyone looking for a fresh drink. There are usually stacks of green husks everywhere, and the smell of the fresh water is always in the air. We spend a lot of time with the machetes, chopping off the tops so people can have a drink right there. It’s hard work on the arms and back, especially when the weather is hot. We see everyone from office workers on their break to families out for a walk. Indira Nagar is a busy place, and there is always someone looking for something natural to drink. We don't have a big store with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just us, the coconuts, and the space by the hall. We try to pick the ones that have the most water and the best cream inside. Some days we sell out early, and other days we have plenty left over. It just depends on the sun and who's passing by the hall today. We keep it straightforward and just focus on the fruit. It’s been our way of life for years, and we don't plan on changing much.
