Tehreem Sheet Metal Works

If you head down to Godown Street in Basavanagar, you will find Tehreem Sheet Metal Works at No 13/7. It is exactly what it sounds like. We spend all day cutting, bending, and welding sheets of metal. The shop is loud because of the hammers and the shearing machines, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. It is a gritty job, but someone has to do it. We make things like boxes, ducting, and custom frames for people who live or work nearby. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, so we have to be careful where we step. We are not a high-tech facility with robots; it is mostly just us using our hands and some old, reliable machinery. We have been on this street for years and know all the other shop owners around. Sometimes we help each other out with tools or extra hands. We do not have a website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people walking in or calling because a friend told them we do decent work. It gets hot in the shop during the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. We take pride in making sure the edges are smooth and the welds hold up. It is just regular metal work for everyday needs, and we have been doing it this way since we opened.
