Teammate Consulting Engineers is located over in Hanumantha Nagar, right on the 4th Cross. It’s a busy spot near Maruthi Circle. Our office is on the 2nd floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below. Being consulting engineers means a lot of desk work and a lot of phone calls. We deal with structural stuff and making sure buildings are safe and solid. It sounds serious because it is, but we try to keep things relaxed here. We’ve worked on plenty of projects around this part of Bangalore. The address is No 886. Sometimes people miss the entrance because the stairs are a bit narrow. We do calculations and check if the soil is okay for building before anything starts. It’s mostly technical things that might bore most people, but it’s what we know. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of people. Just a dedicated group who likes to get the math and the drawings right. Hanumantha Nagar is a good area to be in, very traditional and calm compared to other parts of the city. We’ve been here for some time now. We handle everything from the initial designs to the final checks on site. If you are walking around Maruthi Circle, you’re basically there. We don't use big signs. Just a simple nameplate on the door. We prefer to let the finished buildings do the talking for us. It’s honest, technical work that keeps us busy every day.
