Our office for Teal Lease Services Pvt Ltd is up on the 6th floor of the B M T C Commercial Complex. It’s right on Dinnur Main Road in Koramangala VI Block. Being in a big government-style building like this means there is always a lot of movement. You have the buses coming in and out below and people rushing to different offices all day. We deal with leasing stuff, which means a lot of paperwork and checking details over and over. It isn't the most exciting work, but it needs to be done right. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets that are getting a bit full. The view from the 6th floor is okay, you can see the rooftops of Koramangala and all the traffic. We aren't one of those startups with bean bags and free snacks. We just have a kettle for tea and some sturdy chairs. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at contracts. We’ve been in this complex for a while, so we know the security guards and the lift operators pretty well. Sometimes the elevator takes forever, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s a practical place to work. We handle the leasing side of things so other people don't have to worry about the fine print. We aren't trying to be fancy, just trying to keep the records straight and the clients informed.
