We’ve been here at Holding No 1 on Road No. 1 in Jamshedpur for a very long time. This city was basically built around the steel work, so being here feels like being right in the heart of things. It’s not a fancy modern office building; it’s a place that shows its age and its history. We’ve got high ceilings and heavy doors and the smell of industrial work always in the air. The address is as simple as it gets, being the first holding on the first road. We spend our days dealing with the iron and steel business, which is hard work and doesn't leave much room for corporate talk. The people here have been working with the company for generations in some cases. We just show up, check the schedules, and make sure the steel production or the logistics are moving as they should. Jamshedpur has a certain rhythm to it because of the plant, and we’re just a small part of that massive machine. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. Usually, it’s just a quick chat over tea and then back to the tasks at hand. It’s a dusty, busy, and honest kind of place. We’re proud to be here in Jharkhand, doing what we’ve always done. It’s just how life is on Road No. 1. No need to dress it up or pretend it's something else.
