Taj Mutton Stall

Taj Mutton Stall is located right on Mariyappana Palya 1st Main Road, 3rd Block, 3rd Stage 3001/3002. If you come by on a Sunday morning, you’ll see a line of people waiting. We start very early, usually way before the sun comes up, to get everything ready. The shop is a simple place with white tiles and a big cutting block. We’ve been in this part of Mariyappana Palya for years, and we know exactly how most of our customers like their meat cut. It gets pretty loud with the chopping and people talking over each other. We don't have a fancy display case, just the meat that came in fresh that morning. Sometimes we run out of certain cuts before noon, and people get a bit disappointed, but that’s just how it goes when you don't use frozen stuff. The floors get washed down many times a day to keep things right. My brothers and I run the place together, so it’s a family thing. We don't use any high-tech machines, just sharp knives and our hands. It's hard work and your back starts to ache after a few hours of standing at 3001/3002. But we like the people who come in and we enjoy the busy atmosphere of the 3rd Stage. It’s a real local butcher shop, nothing more and nothing less. We just focus on getting through the weekend rush and keeping the customers happy.
