Swathi Telecom

We are located in Malleshwaram, specifically over in Laxmi Nagar on Tilak Road. The shop number is U-48. It’s a typical telecom spot. We’ve got glass cases filled with mobile covers and screen protectors. They’re a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. We spend our days helping people with their mobile phones. Whether it’s a recharge or a phone that won't turn on, we take a look. Malleshwaram is a nice area, quite traditional, so we get a lot of older folks who need help with their smartphones. We take the time to show them how to use the apps. It’s not a high-pressure sales environment. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait for their repairs. The floor is a bit worn out from all the foot traffic over the years. We usually have a radio playing in the background, mostly old songs. We aren't part of some big chain. Swathi Telecom is just a local shop where we try to be helpful. Sometimes we run out of a certain model of charger, but we can usually get it by the next day if we call our supplier. Tilak Road can get pretty packed during festival seasons, which makes things interesting. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to come in. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close the shutters at night. We just focus on the daily tasks and helping folks.
