Swathi Enterprises

Swathi Enterprises is out on Shikapur Road, over in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, Tal Khed 38/2. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, which is fine by us. We mostly deal with local supplies and whatever the nearby farms or shops might need. The building is an older one, and the roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we manage. I spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the inventory in the ledger. We aren't tech-savvy people using fancy software. We just write things down and keep track of who owes what. It’s a very local operation. Most of the people who come in are neighbors we've known for years. We talk about the weather or the crops before we even get to business. It’s just the way things are done here in Tal Khed. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us helping out and moving crates around. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because of the traffic on Shikapur Road, and we just sit and wait. There’s no rush to anything. We just want to make sure the folks around here get what they need. It’s a simple life, and we like the quiet of the area. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The sign outside is a bit faded, but everyone knows we are here.
